About Preschool Ljuset
The preschool is a non-profit staff cooperative in the form of an economic association. The preschool has been located in Hjällbo since 1998. We have nice, adapted preschool facilities on the ground floor of an apartment building.
Montessori at Ljuset
For example, there is only one set of each material and the child must wait for their turn.
When children choose their own activities, their self-esteem and belief in their own abilities are strengthened. “Help me do it myself” is an important guiding principle in Montessori pedagogy. The teachers are there to support and guide.
